Key Responsibilities

• Process audio recordings while meticulously adhering to established style guides to create verbatim transcripts.
• Maintain the highest level of accuracy and quality in all transcription tasks.

• Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
• Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
• Outstanding literacy capabilities, including spelling, grammar, and comprehension.
• Proficient typing skills with a focus on both speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts.
• Capability to process sensitive audio/text content, which may be potentially offensive.
  
  

Qualifications

• Significant experience in legal transcription is essential.
• A background in legal studies or relevant coursework is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
