As legal and judicial entities embrace technology-driven workflows, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the field of legal transcription.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings into verbatim transcripts.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adhere to client-specific style guides and deadlines.
  • Collaborate remotely with our supportive in-office team as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
  • Exceptional listening abilities and outstanding literacy skills, including grammar, comprehension, and spelling.
  • Competence in typing with both speed and accuracy, with a capability to handle sensitive or potentially offensive audio/text content.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology is crucial.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience transcribing depositions and hearings is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check is required.
  • Court reporting students are also welcome to apply.
  • This opportunity is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
