We are currently seeking skilled Legal/Judicial transcription professionals with substantial experience in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role offers the flexibility of a 100% remote work environment for Independent Contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
  • Process audio recordings while strictly adhering to established style guides, ensuring verbatim transcripts.
  • Collaborate effectively with the supportive in-office team as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
  • Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong literacy abilities, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
  • Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and ability to handle sensitive content.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Ability to collaborate in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

  • Significant prior experience in legal transcription or court reporting is required.
  • Court reporting students will also be considered for this role.
