Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the onboarding of new clients and provide ongoing consulting for customers. The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for implementation tasks including facilitating software setup/configuration, training with end users, understanding the customer’s process and ensuring a seamless transition onto the Khameleon platform.

Responsibilities

• Implement Khameleon according to the ECI’s standard methodology
• Implement Khameleon considering aspects such as timeline, budget, scope and delivery
• Provide expertise and consulting of Khameleon software modules to new and existing customers to continually improve their process and optimize their use of the package
• Manage the delivery of complex, small to medium business/IT project initiatives
• Lead ERP implementations of Khameleon and/or act as team member of ECI implementation team on the project
• Analyze business processes of client and provide workable solutions for Khameleon to the business need
• Identify and manage potential issues and escalations in coordination with the team lead or project manager
• Understand and deliver upon the ECI implementation methodology, which includes the ability to:
• Requirements gathering through existing process reviews
• Systems design and fit-gap analysis
• System configuration and setup
• Engineer solutions based on complicated customer business requirements
• New process design and definition
• Training
• Pre-implementation system testing
• Concept validation and user acceptance testing
• Data migration and data formatting requirements
• Go-live implementation tasks and post go-live consulting
• Consulting recap/activity reporting
• Develop training documentation as needed
• Mentor other implementation specialists
• Perform other duties including but not limited to: User materials and presentations, team meetings, knowledge base updates, and methodology improvements
• Manage administrative tasks including weekly time sheets, recap reports, and expense reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner
• Potential for travel; 5-10%
  

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience

• Accounting knowledge required
• Strong ERP product knowledge, ERP experience preferred
• Understand common industry business practices in distribution, purchasing, operations, and finance
• Understand ERP application concepts and software usage in the vertical
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective project and time management skills
• Strong, clear, and well organized written and oral communications
• Strong training or presentation skills targeted to effectively present information to all customer role levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, active listening, and customer service
• Relays concerns externally and internally with timely, fact-based, and constructive feedback
• Able to work as a team player and/or individual contributor internally and externally
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Take ownership, accountability and initiative
• Process improvement experience
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in business or accounting and/or IT related field
• Alternately, an Associate’s degree and 3+ years relevant experience in the industry
