Conversational Designer (Remote)

Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $50 - 55 per hour

Our client is looking for a motivated Conversational Designer who can facilitate and move forward the design of complex conversation flows. Your days will consist of reviewing and creating conversation flows in accordance with design best practices for the key personas and channels and writing scripts for natural conversations.

Can be 100% Remote - must be comfortable working EST hours, 6 month contract with potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the design and development of complex conversation flows.
• Review and create conversation flows aligned with design best practices, tailored to key personas and channels.
• Write scripts for natural, engaging conversations.
• Design and implement NLU (Natural Language Understanding) architecture and models, including intent architecture, entities, follow-up intents, and performance evaluation.
• Utilize Kore.ai and FigJam as part of the tech stack.
• Work on automated voice chats and chatbot solutions to enhance user experiences.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in conversational design for IVR and chat.
• Stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience with tools used for creating conversational interfaces.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning basics.
• Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of generative models.
• Enterprise financial bot experience (preferred).
• Kore.ai experience (preferred).
• Enterprise-Level Expertise: Preference for candidates with experience in large-scale enterprise environments, even if it's relatively recent, over more extensive experience in smaller organizations.
• Independent Leadership: Ability to take ownership and lead design efforts as the sole designer on a project.
• Dialogue Flow Creation: Proven ability to develop dialogue flows from the ground up without relying heavily on AI tools for generation.
