The Warehouse Excellence - Industrial Engineering Sr Manager will serve as an operational problem-solver for field teams that identifies and escalates operational improvement opportunities to CI leadership to drive short-term Supply Chain and efficiency objectives. This role will address continuous improvement opportunities within Warehouse processes, with near-term solutions across all US Foods regions.
This role maintains labor work measurement standards based on established industrial engineering methodologies and practices and leads the implementation process to instill best practices in industrial engineering and their corresponding policies, procedures and systems.
The Warehouse Excellence (IE) Sr Manager must also effectively partner with the Director, Warehouse Excellence to identify and divide-and-conquer to own near-term, break-fix field escalations of warehouse processes. A successful Warehouse Excellence (IE) Sr Manager must possess strong process expertise, attention to detail, and be an effective communicator to inform CI leadership of tangible operational improvement opportunities confirmed by Supply Chain field stakeholders.
This position is remote virtual which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates as the liaison between continuous improvement team and field stakeholders to address field-escalated warehouse process issues or area-level warehouse process improvement opportunities to deliver tangible, urgent and near-term issue resolutions.
Brings an executional and end-to-end process mindset to drive and align CI projects with field operational targets.
Implements new and modifies existing engineered labor standards in warehouse receiving, put-aways replenishment, selection, and loading.
Supports regional operations projects in warehouse automation, slotting, facility layout, transportation, labor incentive plans, etc., and recommends most efficient and cost-effective solutions, ensuring that implementations proceed smoothly and on schedule.
Operate as an effective action-oriented, analytical problem-solver to alleviate supply chain field issues and escalations in an urgent and timely manner.
Demonstrates strong wherewithal of warehouse supply chain processes and field operations, and a desire to self-educate on best-in-class trends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 7 years of experience in a Supply Chain setting.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in driving continuous improvement in a Supply Chain setting or consulting environment.
Must possess at least 1 to 3 years of progressive industrial engineering experience.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in implementing engineered labor standards.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, or related Business degree) or equivalent experience, required.
CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING
LICENSES
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency using AutoCAD
Professional experience with Blue Yonder WMS.
Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen and associated tools to drive tangible operational improvements, preferred.
Project management training or certifications (e.g., PMI), preferred

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $95,000 and $157,600.
This role will also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.
