As global leader in coatings and paints, we are seeking for you, a hard-working and proactive Logistic Specialist who wants to continue or build an exciting career in our expert Logistic department at Hempel.

This position offers you the window to actively participate in refining our processes. You will work alongside our Logistics Manager for South-East Europe, be based in Turkey, and collaborate closely with our factories and a diverse team of colleagues from Italy, Turkey, and worldwide.

You will have the opportunity to focus on handling key logistics activities, among others, planning and analyzing the logistical resources required to flow assigned products through the supply chain, ensuring process efficiency, timeliness, and compliance with legal and quality requirements.

Moreover, you can look forward to:

  • Maintaining and analysing required inventory parameters and data in terms of required quality, unhealthy stock, goods shelf life, inventory levels, coverage groups, ROP and/or minimum stock levels.
  • Placing purchasing orders in the system, while supervising, coordinating and following the safety stock and demand requirements. All the above, ensuring that goods are delivered in time and in full.
  • Invoicing, supervising financial reserves for transport costs.
  • Implementing critical metrics for taking corrective actions in the event of their deviations.
  • Developing and maintaining a master schedule, which pertains to transportation information, routing, carriers and cost effectiveness.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Your experience in inventory replenishment and management, warehousing processes, purchasing, shipping, and transport is required for this role.
  • A background in Logistics/Supply Chain education is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the Dynamix system. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems being a plus.
  • This role required strong communication skill in Italian. Additionally, proficiency in Turkish and English is indispensable.
