About the role

The Marketing Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of marketing and creative materials for our clients. As the Marketing Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creatives, marketers, media buyers, and specialists to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the client's satisfaction.

The Marketing Project Manager is involved with every phase of a project. You are responsible for clarifying requirements, managing timelines and budgets, maintaining open communication with all team members, and ensuring all information is properly shared and documented. Thus, it is imperative that you have a detailed understanding of each client's Scope of Services to monitor and manage the deliverables effectively and efficiently.

The Project Manager is the gatekeeper of productivity at Strikepoint and needs to operate with a sense of urgency to push projects and tasks forward.  You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fully understand the client's scope of services, objectives, and project goals and articulate them clearly.

  • Work in step with the paired Growth Strategist to have full understanding of the priorities, initiatives, and projects you are working on. Work as a team to meet, and exceed, client expectations.

  • Develop project plans and work with project teams to execute plans, as well as keep them updated with any adjustments that happen.

  • Be able to identify and solve gaps between media plans, project plans, and tasks created.

  • Monitor the day-to-day activities of project teams and ensure work is progressing as planned.

  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed.

  • Manage resource assignments for the project, and proactively identify resource challenges.

  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.

  • Consistently identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.

  • Communicate and document project status to clients, team members, and management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels.

  • Recap and create debriefs for every completed project; facilitate discussions on lessons learned and new knowledge gained; document properly and share.
