Job description

Our client, an American product company, is expanding its team in Bulgaria! They are building their first Mobile Development Team locally and are looking for an Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in its growth and success. The company is developing an innovative SaaS platform, and this is your chance to be part of something impactful from the very beginning.

What you’ll do:

Help individuals and the team to set priorities.
Focus on team members and coaching them to play to their strengths.
Delegates well and harnesses the aggregate strength of your team.
Deployments are monitored to ensure success and have tested rollback plans.
Guide and coach team members regarding architecture and best practices.
Facilitate feedback and discussions with Product and UX Design on customer. needs, user experience, implementation efficiency.
Forge partnerships with product management and other key areas of the business
Communicate often with peers, executives and team members.
Deployment plans are well considered and include appropriate scalability and load tests.
Review team's designs and provide feedback on deployment safety, scale, performance and security.

What you bring to the table:

8+ years software development experience.
4+ years mobile native development experience.
4+ years previous management experience.
Experience leading with multiple disciplines.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
Experience building scalable, availablе customer-facing applications.
