Senior Payroll Specialist

Join an international organization with over 500 headcounts in Hong Kong as a Senior Payroll Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to manage comprehensive payroll operations while contributing to process improvements and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
• Process tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.
• Develop and maintain payroll budgets, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather payroll data and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Oversee payroll system upgrades and enhancements to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on payroll best practices, tax laws, and advancements in payroll systems to enhance operations.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions promptly and professionally.
• Generate payroll reports, analyze data trends, and provide insights for management decision-making.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5-6 years of payroll experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with experience in system upgrades and process enhancements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
