Job Title: Instructional Designer/Corporate Trainer
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking an Instructional Designer/Corporate Trainer to join our team! This dynamic role involves designing, developing, and delivering high-impact learning solutions across multiple platforms to elevate employee performance and ensure ongoing skill development. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging and scalable content that supports both in-person and virtual learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Design & Content Development:
Develop and design innovative instructional content tailored for both live and virtual environments, ensuring learners effectively grasp new and existing processes and workstreams.
- e-Learning & Continuous Learning Initiatives:
Create engaging e-learning modules and self-paced courses to promote a continuous learning culture within the organization.
- Learning Assessment & Evaluation:
Design and implement robust learning assessments to measure knowledge retention and identify areas for improvement, ensuring the effectiveness of training programs.
- Content Maintenance & Updates:
Proactively maintain and refresh training materials, including documentation, user guides, videos, and interactive guided navigation, ensuring all content remains current and relevant.
- Platform Expertise:
Stay up-to-date on new LearnUpon LMS product features and platform updates to efficiently translate technical knowledge into practical training for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative Cross-Functional Training Support:
Partner with SMEs across various departments to craft targeted training solutions for emerging workflows and product rollouts.
- Training Delivery:
Deliver high-quality, instructor-led training sessions (both in-person and virtual) tailored to diverse learner profiles and skill levels, ensuring active engagement and understanding.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Attend live meetings and industry-relevant training sessions, fostering strong relationships with SMEs and key stakeholders while enhancing your product knowledge.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or courseware development, with a proven ability to craft impactful training materials.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with LearnUpon LMS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Competency Development:
Strong ability to identify skill gaps and design learning programs that enhance employee competencies and on-the-job performance.
- Collaboration & Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Self-Starter & Independent Learner:
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while quickly absorbing product, company, and industry knowledge.
- Travel Requirement:
Willingness to travel as needed to attend live trainings, meetings, and stakeholder events.

Compensation: USD $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
