The Role

We are seeking a Programmatic SEO Engineer to drive The Dyrt’s online growth through advanced technical SEO strategies and content optimization. In this role, you’ll focus on improving site structure, search visibility, and user experience while proactively identifying and resolving SEO challenges. You’ll work to develop and implement content strategy to improve SEO performance across desktop and mobile browsers. This is a frontend development role that requires deep SEO knowledge in order to drive strategy and build solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and implementation of programmatic SEO content
  • Develop systems for programmatic content generation, management and optimization

Experience and Requirements

  • Designing and implementing programmatic SEO content based on geographic regions, ideally within the travel industry
  • Building and maintaining systems of relevant internal links
  • Deep general knowledge of technical SEO concepts, for example:
    • Page structure and composition (tags, noindex, nofollow, canonical, etc)
    • Internal linking
    • Sitemaps
    • Robots.txt
    • Indexing, crawling
    • Search visibility
    • Structured Data Markup (Schema.org / “Schema Markup” / JSON-LD)
  • Troubleshooting and preventing SEO issues using industry standard tools such as: Google Search Console, Browser DevTools, etc
  • Automated monitoring of SEO performance/properties
  • NextJS or other React experience
