Our client was founded in 2012. They are a full-service accounting and consulting firm. They have a program for small businesses called Accounting Simplified to help those small businesses succeed. They provide quality audits and tax returns through integrity, accountability, and trust. The size of their firm provides for individual attention to their clients, and they also have the resources available to attend to their clients' needs on a timely basis.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Staff Auditor will be responsible for analyzing and conducting necessary audit procedures with the guidance of a direct supervisor. He/she will also prepare working papers that adequately document audit tests and procedures, substantiating the conclusions reached.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

Audit Services

  • Preparation of financial audit reports.
  • Conduct planning, analytical procedures, testing controls, identifying areas of audit risk, and communicating findings and results.
  • Completes unplanned client-related or internal firm projects, record-keeping, and other matters as needed
  • Actively manage workload for themselves, independently tracks deliverables, and identifies additional advisory opportunities with existing clients
  • Maintains continued client communication and manages client relationships as needed with supervisors.

Accounting Services

  • Has experience working with accounting software, primarily QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
