As Product Owner - Data Activation, you will lead the charge in optimizing our analytics and data activation capabilities. Your role will center on ensuring seamless tracking, accurate data collection, and the integration of analytics into our broader product ecosystem. A key focus will be on feeding relevant and actionable data to marketing platforms, ensuring alignment with campaign goals, and maintaining high event tracking quality scores. By translating business requirements into functional data solutions, you’ll enhance the organization’s ability to make data-driven decisions, support marketing effectiveness, and unlock new opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the data activation roadmap, driving quality standards, and enabling teams to leverage data effectively and responsibly.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the analytics team, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.

  • Work closely with the development team, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.

  • Assess and determine the appropriate requirements of tracking implementation on the front-end or back-end, aligning with project requirements and goals.

  • Monitor, diagnose, and help to resolve issues with analytics and marketing scripts, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive and clear documentation that outlines technical settings, processes and project requirements

  • Oversee testing processes to ensure product features meet quality standards and business requirements.

  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Good knowledge of key tracking technologies: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (client-side and server-side), marketing pixels and APIs

  • Understand the third-party scripts integration to the website and the quality of this integration

  • 3+ years of relevant business experience

  • Strong understanding of analytics and data-driven product development.

  • Familiarity with the privacy regulations and their impact on the data ecosystem

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
