Area Sales Manager, Midwest
Job Description
Summary
Provides direction and support to the Key Account Managers within the Midwest Business Area to develop strategic plans within the Key Account program to further relationships with end customers and drive revenue through long term activities and objectives. Ideal candidate should reside within a 1-hour drive from an existing Midwest Business Area Experience Center.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain current and future account management approaches
- Build and maintain a successful portfolio of accounts
- Provide support and development to team members as growth champions
- Maintains strategic relationships throughout industry
- Analyze reports on current accounts as well as working to identify potential future accounts and provide updates to the management team
- Collaborate and develop appropriate pricing strategies for strategic accounts
- Track and analyze monthly data to ensure accuracy and trends
- Provide and encourage feedback from team and customers
- Maintain strong partnerships between all internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with KAM program team for continuity, growth, and success
- Ensure firm adherence to policies across the Area
- Perform other related duties when assigned

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years in sales
- 3+ years in managing remote staff
Valued but not required skills or experience
- MBA or Masters degree in related field
- Work in large team with shared goals and responsibilities
This position Reports to:
Business Area Director – “BAD”
Target Salary
- The approximate pay range for this location and position is $175,000-$190,000 annually On Target Earnings / Total Target Compensation. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
