About the role

The health and Wellbeing Lead will support the overall coordination and delivery of the wellbeing strategy. With the focus on both mental, physical health, supporting, motivating, and inspiring TGE employees. You will work closely with the Heads of HSE Operations and HSE team to deliver a successful People and Wellbeing strategy aligned with TGE values. 

The Health and Wellbeing Lead is a safety and Well Being professional who is passionate about the mental and physical health our workforce, understands change management and has the ability to navigate through the business to deliver a targeted program that makes a difference.

The Health and Wellbeing Lead will challenge the status quo, has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement the Health and Wellbeing strategy and plan.

  • In line with the plan, develop and deploy key health and wellbeing initiative.

  • Implement Wellbeing & Mental Health Programs to promote mental and physical wellbeing, partnering with leaders to embed best practice.

  • Risk Management & Compliance by developing proactive tools to manage risk, lead audits, and ensure compliance with legislations and polices.

  • Creating a positive workplace culture by encourage collaboration, building trust,

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of HSE systems.

  • Coaching and guiding employees and manager on TGE policies, performance management and workplace relations.

  • Collaborating with TGE leaders to deliver impactful training and development initiatives.

  • Work closely with the internal communication team to develop key campaigns.

  • Maintain EAP contract leveraging relationship to support the Health and Wellbeing Plan.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety and wellbeing management, including experience in HSW compliance auditing and advisory services.

  • Experience in conducting physical and psychosocial risk assessments, designing HSW management System Frameworks.

  • Tertiary qualifications or degree, related to Health, Safety, Environment or orgnaisational psychology

  • Proven experience leading the development and implementation of HSE and operational business systems.

  • Project management experience including relationship management with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Advanced level of Microsoft skills in Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.

  • Transport and or industrial industry experience would be highly regarded.
