Job Purpose:

The Manager, Solution Analytics is responsible for driving positive change within the Revenue Cycle by developing the collection, analysis and reporting of data pertinent to executive decision making for the client and Savista leaders. This position has broad enterprise and engagement influence and will work closely with Revenue Cycle executives and Financial leaders to implement consistent tools, processes, and reporting to support the growth of the business. This role also closely works with client physician and business leaders by reporting on the financial health of each line of business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with the revenue producing department staff, physicians to ensure all charges are being captured and documented. 
  • Fosters partnering relationships with the Client Business Leaders, Client Physician Leaders, Professional Billing Office, Health Information Management department, and other third parties to ensure the accuracy of charge input, denials, and cash collection   
  • Assists in the resolution of problems causing payer denials. Works collaboratively with the revenue producing department staff and physicians to ensure all charges are being captured and documented
  • Develops and produces leadership Revenue Cycle reporting, recommendations and oversight of organization wide Revenue Cycle strategies and process improvements.
  • Develops / leads the development of reporting tools and business processes to capture and assist with interpretation of data including client profitability, revenue, sales and other data relevant to segment operations.
  • Ensures accuracy of monthly reporting of the key performance metrics for executive meetings
  • Develops reports and advises project and system governance for the engagement
  • Proactively conducts root cause analysis to identify and understand foundational issues and present potential solutions, then works with engagement leadership and others throughout the Revenue Cycle to address people, process and technology issues
  • Assist leaders in interpreting key metrics, drilling down to isolate key issues, and developing action plans to improve.
  • Develop a working knowledge of health care technology data structure and Savista data technologies and develop complex ad-hoc reports to answer client questions.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

  • BA/BS in Finance, business or a related concentration; graduate degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time, as well as the ability to stay focused on key business initiatives.
  • Able to work at all levels of the organization from senior leadership to the staff level.
  • Excellent skills in oral and written communications, leadership, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products.

Note: Savista is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $55,000 to $65,000. However, specific compensation for the role will vary within the above range based on many factors including but not limited to geographic location, candidate experience, applicable certifications, and skills.
