Employee Services has the immediate need for a full time remote telephonic Counselor. The Counselor will provide counseling and case management, for our EAP members who call for immediate support. Primary responsibilities include conducting a telephonic triage, assessment, providing in the moment support and coordinating resources.
Master’s degree is the minimum academic requirement . Behavioral Health Care Professionals with experience in social work, counseling or a related field preferred. **Must have 5+ years post Master's experience**

Responsibilities
Conducts telephonic triage and assessment, providing in the moment support to members on issues, including but not limited to: behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life, and coordinates resources.
Coordinates and completes case management of intakes.
Makes clinical determinations in adherence with Company risk policy and in the member and Company’s best interest.
Provides referrals to service provider network and/or other resources as appropriate for financial concerns, legal concerns, personal assistant, and work-life requests.
Telehealth intake assessments triage, coaching, brief solution-focused counseling to members on issues, including but not limited to: behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life issues.
Consults with service providers to make referrals and complete session authorizations. Follows cases to completion.
Utilizes computer-based case management system to complete professional documentation
Consults with Human Resources and supervisory personnel from client companies regarding employee issues and concerns
Maintains industry knowledge and ethical code.
Qualifications
5+ years post Master’s degree experience in behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)
5 years of experience as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor or equivalent behavioral health clinical experience preferred
