Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager for the Peer Mentored Care Collaborative (PMCC) will play a critical role in unifying and streamlining operations across multiple PMCC initiatives which include the ECHO Colorado and eConsult programs. This individual will oversee key operational staff, including those in marketing, grants management, and university operations, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow across all PMCC projects. By fostering collaboration and alignment across these areas, the Operations Manager will help bring structure, organization, and cohesion to the various PMCC teams and initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing day-to-day operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives that advance PMCC’s mission. The Operations Manager will manage project workflows through project management software, mentor staff on best practices, and develop standard operating procedures to ensure high-quality operations. They will play a leading role in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Additionally, this position requires a strong technical aptitude, as the Operations Manager will work closely with different units to implement and optimize databases and other technical systems to support operational success. Their ability to integrate these systems seamlessly will enable PMCC to scale its statewide healthcare initiatives effectively.

The ideal candidate brings a background in healthcare operations or related fields, with proven expertise in project management, technical systems integration, and the ability to navigate cross-functional team dynamics to support the scaling of statewide healthcare initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse team and foster collaboration within the PMCC team to ensure seamless operations, alignment of goals, and effective resource utilization.
  • Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements across PMCC to ensure coordination between the eConsult, ECHO, and university operations.
  • Oversee and manage PMCC project management software to ensure seamless project coordination and tracking of deliverables across ECHO and eConsult teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align operational improvements with PMCC’s strategic priorities and long-term goals.
  • Identify, implement, and manage automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.

Work Location:

Remote – this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, and information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least five (5) years of experience operating and/or managing remote healthcare services and programs.

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, with substantial experience overseeing large-scale operational rollouts in healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with academic medical campus healthcare operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of telehealth and digital health platforms, including experience in integrating these technologies into existing healthcare and administrative infrastructures.
  • Proven technical expertise in systems integration, with the ability to seamlessly coordinate and manage technical components across multiple programs to enhance operational efficiency and program synergy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative partnerships across IT, clinical, operational, and administrative teams.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $75,643 to $96,217.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
