Senior Account Director

Reports to VP, Group Sales Manager

Role

The Senior Account Director, Canada is an integral part of the Canadian selling team. The role would be leading several large multinational accounts, with additional responsibilities on acquiring new business and tasked with the goal of growing advertiser revenues double digit in Canada. 

This role is a remote based position.

Timing: Immediate


Responsibilities include:

  • Strategically build upon current and new business relationships in order to close profitable business sales, including new adult beverage and pharma revenue opportunities
  • Secure meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and can help potential customers to achieve their goals.
  • Create client-centric campaign options utilizing capabilities and resources to address client needs.
  • Engage with internal resources (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Management) to both uncover business driving opportunities and elevate client proposals.
  • Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting of lead development to management.


Preferred Requirements: 

  • Proven track record of delivering results through the closing of sales in the advertising landscape. Must be able to understand what generates a profitable sale within our company and prioritize accordingly the pursuit of these accounts.
  • Has consistently achieved or exceeded profitable sales goals selling business to business.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow through with clients.
  • Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential.
  • Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Experience selling digital media or in the CPG industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint
