The Department of Health, Bureau of Marijuana, Division of Facility Compliance is looking for a Safety Inspection Supervisor to support the bureau's mission of providing safe and effective access to medical marijuana for patients with serious medical conditions. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Safety Inspection Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all medical marijuana organizations are compliant with applicable policies and regulations. Your duties will involve overseeing field inspectors, evaluating their performance, and providing training as needed. Additionally, you will participate in inspections of new construction and initial openings to ensure compliance. You will also work closely with architects, engineers, and other entities involved in the construction and operation of medical marijuana facilities to provide technical guidance and ensure compliance. An important part of your work will include coordinating and collaborating with law enforcement, legal teams, state agencies, federal entities, and other agents for the purposes of auditing, inspection, investigation, incident response, or legal action. Overall, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of medical marijuana organizations, and you will play a vital role in the success of this industry.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This is a home headquartered position which will require you to be headquartered at your home and travel to worksites to complete your work duties. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Safety Inspector; or
- Two years of experience inspecting commercial, industrial, healthcare or other buildings, structures, machines, apparatus, devices or equipment for compliance with applicable safety codes and regulations; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
