Senior Project Controls Professional can expect to be responsible for the following:

Contract to hire opportunity

- Responsible to serve as a project controls subject matter expert for low-level complexity projects as assigned.
- Lead project controls processes for low-level complexity projects or for a subset of moderate-level complexity project scope (e.g., work package).
- Support Field Services Resource Planning by partnering with business segments and recruiting teams to plan, staff and manage resources across projects and sites.
- Conduct cross project analysis to identify resource gaps, create reports for field operations and recruiting and coordinate resource management including crew and start/stops, site access and mobilization/demobilization
- Support the development of an operating model between AOMS business segments, recruiting and project controls functions enabling sustainable planning and execution of nuclear outage projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Lead small teams which may include resources from staffing, schedule, cost, and/or risk, through all phases of a project.
- Project planning: For assigned projects, complete all aspects of the project controls process, which includes but is not limited to, developing, and maintaining baseline project schedule, developing and maintaining baseline project cost structure, cash flow/Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) forecasts, budget and/or EAC reporting associated with project scope through project lifecycle.
- Promote teamwork and effective communication, which includes maintenance and dissemination of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status. Develop or oversee project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project performance information between project team members.
- Support successful project execution and promote continuous improvements within the team:
- Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

Bachelor’s degree in project management in Business, Accounting, or related technical discipline.
5+ years working experience
Strong interpersonal communication skills to achieve cooperation with project participants.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience working in SAP for planning and cost networks highly preferred
Preferred experience using Primavera (P6) for scheduling software
Preferred Basic Power BI
