The Role
GovExec is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing GovTribe Sales team. The GovTribe Sales team is leading the charge on growing GovTribe's new revenue.
As Account Executive, you will be accountable for running full-cycle sales for GovTribe. You will also collaborate with marketing, sales development representatives, and sales management to provide a high-quality experience for all prospects and help bolster interested organizations' ability to use GovTribe in their business. In this role, you will report directly to Molly Broemmelsiek, EVP of Data Sales.
Responsibilities
- Run all aspects of selling and brand awareness for a defined territory in order to grow GovTribe revenue
- Partner with scheduling support staff to prospect and identify strong opportunities in your territory
- Cultivate positive relationships through a consultative sales process, involving on-site meetings and attending events with decision makers within DC’s govcon community
- Support clients in the evaluation process as they understand how our solutions address their specific needs
- Aspire to grow professionally through coaching, and in turn be willing to provide coaching to support staff they are partnered with
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified accounts and active evaluations
- Keep an accurate log of account details, sales activities, and contact information using a CRM platform (Hubspot)
- Provide market feedback to help tailor and refine the platform
- Coordinate seamless on-boarding of new clients with the GovTribe Customer Success team
- Represent GovTribe and GovExec on client presentations and at events in a positive, substantive and enthusiastic manner
- Embody an entrepreneurial spirit, service ethic, and generous nature in internal and external communications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience of consultative sales experience with a demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
- A willingness to attend events and conduct live sales meetings in Washington, DC
- An interest in the evolving govcon market and an ability to build relationships with senior level professionals
- Propensity to ask probing questions to match the prospect's challenges with GovTribe’s services
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage a busy pipeline and meeting calendar
- Competitive spirit and results-oriented; someone who is driven to hit individual goals while staying invested in the team’s larger revenue success
- Working knowledge of CRM platform (Hubspot preferred)

The compensation range is from $90,000 to $115,000 per year including commission potential.
