Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and management-oriented person.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

The Role

• Responsible for test case creation and test execution for assigned projects;
• Coordinates and collaborates with QA Lead and Project team and contribute to successful delivery of projects in given timeline;
• Contributes to the overall uplift of the QA capability;
• May lead small to mid-size projects of diverse scope across functional areas or multiple systems;
• Leads and mentors QA resources, as appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Job Functions

Pre-project:

• Provide High Level estimates for project requests.

Requirements:

• Analyzes and understands the business requirements;
• Participate in projects requirements grooming sessions and Scrum calls;
• Collaborate with QA lead, vendors and/or colleagues to provide inputs to test strategy and scope.

Test Planning:

• Provides inputs for the detailed estimates, creates test plan, test scenarios and test cases for the assigned projects; 
• Creates/conditions test data required for execution;
• Prepares test execution plan. Ensure daily/weekly status reports are communicated, including test plan progress against milestones, issues and risks are identified and escalated to PM and Project team;
• Coordinate/collaborate with other QA leads to ensure interfacing apps/test cases are created and test cycles planned;
• Provide inputs to the business for UAT plans;
• Analyzes and understands the business requirements;
• Participate in projects requirements grooming sessions and Scrum calls;
• Collaborate with QA lead, vendors and/or colleagues to provide inputs to test strategy and scope.

Test Execution:

• Ensure test execution readiness, including data conditioning and cross-system dependencies;
• Execute manual and automation test cases and ensure daily/weekly status reports are communicated, including progress against milestones, issues and risks are identified and escalated to QA lead;
• Identifies issues and escalates, as appropriate;
• Revise test cases for Change Requests;
• Complete and review test results document with stakeholders;
• Support UAT execution and defect management.

Test Closure & Monitoring:

• Participate in Post-Project review. Ensure regression test suites are updated. Provides input for the release retrospection.

• Contributes to identify opportunities to uplift the QA capability through supporting change, innovation, and automation improvements.
