CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR

REMOTE

HealthTronics is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to join our dynamic Partnership Management team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and payor credentialing requirements across our healthcare network.

About The Role

As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will manage the credentialing process for providers, practices, and facilities, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and payor guidelines. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent tasks with team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee credentialing and recredentialing processes, including data entry and submission tracking.
  • Maintain accurate profiles in payor portals and ensure all updates are completed promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Payor Relations team to resolve disputes and facilitate audits.
  • Support compliance efforts by aligning credentialing processes with government regulations and payor standards.
  • Provide timely updates and communication to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: At least 3 years in healthcare, with 1+ year in credentialing preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with health plan portals (e.g., Availity, PECOS).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for professional correspondence and documentation.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
