Partnerships Development Manager

We are looking to recruit a Partnerships Development Manager who will lead the development activity for NSPCC Specialist Partnerships Teams who deliver services across two main themes Early Years & Child Sexual Abuse.

The Development team develop initiatives and services in partnership with other agencies and with our community partners. Working with others, we are creating learning and modelling how we can change systems, support the most vulnerable children and families, and build communities that nurture children.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an energic and ambitious team. As a Development Manager, you will work to create strong partnerships with communities and other organisations, influence change for children, contribute to NSPCC's strategic goals by developing and implementing evidence-based approaches to influence and achieve change at a system level to improve outcomes for children.

You will, support the development of services and strengthen partnership and collaboration with external partners. Working with colleagues, partners and communities to develop new activities, services and interventions for children, families and communities, and to ensure these are robustly implemented, based on evidence, and with fidelity to principles established through research.

The role will focus on our priority areas of prevention of abuse in the early years, and the prevention of child sexual abuse. You will bring expertise in service development and implementation, as well as a keen interest in the prevention of abuse, and a curiosity and knowledge of what works. You will have experience of influencing children and family policy and practice and bring expertise in successful project management and overseeing evaluation and improvement. We would expect you to have detailed and current knowledge of child protection systems and children and adult services across the UK.

Occasional travel is required for this role across the UK and Channel Islands
