Technical Application Specialist

The Technical Application Specialist diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs and debugs software, network systems and/or hardware. Documents and escalates issues as necessary

What You’ll Do

• Communicate via phone, email, or chat to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test solutions for technical/system issues. Fully document and escalate when necessary.
• Follow procedures to resolve client-server software application issues, including those involving Microsoft SQL, web servers, credit card payment terminals, network printers, and Android/iOS devices.
• Use interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge to address situations where standard procedures have failed to resolve system or software failures.
• Keep up with software updates and changes to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers
• Assist with system setup, configuration, and the use of programming and integration tools to customize, extend, and integrate products.
• Address concerns from other departments, such as customer experience or sales, and assist in mentoring team members.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Proficient in both verbal and written communication, ensuring a top-notch customer experience.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
• Knowledgeable in financial, manufacturing, retail, or distribution business processes.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience with demonstrated success and knowledge.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL, ERP applications, and analytical tools.
• Familiar with system application fundamentals and business processes in accounting, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Out of Balance Reconciliation.
• Experience in buying, selling, storing, transferring inventory, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
• Experienced in database administration, installation, and configuration.
• Ability to work effectively with teams in Monterrey, India, and the US.
