Job description

Company Overview:

Our client is a performance marketing agency specializing in mission-driven organizations, particularly in education. Since 2020, the agency has grown rapidly, serving a diverse client base with a talented team of marketers across North America.

In this role, you will manage the internal website for a leading North American university. You’ll oversee content updates, manage a ticketing system, and mentor a team of student workers. As the agency’s first hire in Latin America, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless web operations and supporting the university’s digital goals.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the university’s internal website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with institutional priorities. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a strong ability to manage workflows and resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage content updates and ensure functionality using DNN CMS/
  • Oversee the ticketing system, assigning tasks to student workers, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Mentor and train a team of student workers, providing clear guidance and actionable feedback.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using tools like browser developer consoles and escalate complex problems when needed.
  • Monitor website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and recommend improvements to enhance usability and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the university and the marketing agency, ensuring effective communication and delivery of web solutions.
You Bring:
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing websites, particularly intranets, extranets, and portals.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), particularly DNN, or similar tools like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or Sitecore.
  • Hands-on experience managing ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, or Monday.com) and coordinating tasks across teams.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for troubleshooting and implementing content updates.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with demonstrated experience in client or stakeholder communication.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience optimizing web content for search engines (SEO) or improving conversion rates (CRO).
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for tracking and reporting website performance.
  • A background in education marketing or working with mission-driven projects.
  • Proven ability to create training materials or mentor others in CMS best practices.
