Job description

This is a remote position.

Scope:

  • Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM (8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Manila Time) (8 hours per day/40 hours per week) Eastern time
  • Direct Collaboration: Work closely with the firm’s owner and potentially interact with attorney clients, contributing to high-level project execution.
  • Specialized Tasks: Manage tasks related to forensic accounting, business valuation, and bankruptcy services within a specialized financial and legal context.
  • Work Schedule: Operate within Eastern Time Zone business hours, aligning with the firm’s operational schedule.
  • Career Growth: Potential for growth from a part-time to a full-time role based on performance and evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Forensic Accounting and Valuation Support: Assist in the execution of forensic accounting and business valuation tasks, contributing to precise and reliable financial assessments.
  • Document Management: Efficiently manage and organize financial and legal documents using advanced software tools, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and format detailed financial reports and presentations, delivering clear and professional documentation for various stakeholders.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings via video conferencing platforms, taking comprehensive notes and ensuring accurate follow-up on action items.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary documents and information, facilitating smooth and efficient processes.
  • Legal Document Review: Support the review and analysis of legal documents, particularly court complaints, providing valuable insights and assistance.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • QuickBooks (either desktop or online)
  • Expertise in Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
  • Experience reviewing legal documents
  • A degree in Accounting is a must
  • Familiarity with Outlook
  • Python coding (optional but preferred)
