Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in managing the financial records of our high-profile clients, including real estate investors with extensive property portfolios and S corporations with complex financial structures. You’ll work directly with clients, providing personalized service and leveraging your expertise in QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into the intricacies of real estate accounting and S corporation financials, allowing you to expand your skills and knowledge in these specialized areas. Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks for a diverse client portfolio, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial record maintenance
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank and credit card statements, maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports tailored to each client’s specific needs and industry requirements
  • Collaborate closely with clients and team members to gather necessary financial information and provide insights
  • Assist in streamlining and optimizing bookkeeping processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping, particularly in real estate and S corporation accounting

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate or corporate accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, with certification strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial records and multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Experience with real estate accounting or S corporation financials is a significant advantage
  • Comfortable working US business hours (Eastern Time Zone)
  • Proficiency in using time tracking and task management tools for remote work
