FINANCIAL ANALYST (PART TIME)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Analyst with Market Research Experience to provide strategic insights. The ideal candidate will combine advanced financial expertise with a strong understanding of market trends to drive business growth, ensure compliance, and inform strategic decision-making. This role is critical to overseeing the organizations financial health and leveraging market data for competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Oversight:

• Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and cost control strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international accounting standards.

Strategic Planning & Analysis:

• Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including performance metrics and ROI analysis.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the industry.
• Analyze competitor performance and market positioning to inform pricing, expansion, and diversification strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to integrate market insights into business planning.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics 
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role as a Financial Controller or similar.
• Demonstrated expertise in market research and competitive analysis.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Working Conditions:

• Part-time with flexible hours, as needed to meet project deadlines and strategic needs. Must be amenable to night shift
• Fully remote work arrangement
