Systems Engineer, Microsoft/Citrix

Responsibilities:

You will be experienced in designing, building, and supporting Microsoft and Citrix Virtualization environments globally, and presenting these environments to a variety of clients as a managed service.

Build, and support Citrix Desktop Virtualization environments globally. Preferred

Exposure on NetScaler /ADC. Preferred

Troubleshoot and administer Microsoft Windows 2012, 2019, and 2022 environments.

Ensure effective communication in a corporate environment.

Use PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks across large IT estates.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to Citrix and Windows engineering.

Architecture, designing, support, and maintenance of Microsoft technologies such as AD sites and forests, domain controllers (RWDC, RODC, FSMO)

Setting up AD Trust relationships, ADFS, SSO, Certificate authority.

Familiar with OUs, security groups, identify management and control, GPOs, PowerShell, File servers, DFS replication and namespace,

Failover Clustering, SQL clustering setup and configuration, NLB, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD, AD Connect, service and privileged accounts management,

Working on virtualization, virtual machines, virtual disks, virtual networks, cloning and sysprep

System and data recovery, audit policies, AV setup and control, security policies, audit policies, logs analysis and system hardening

Familiar with MFA and SSO like DUO, OKTA and ping

Familiar with Folder redirection, Roaming Profiles and Fslogix

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

5+ years experience working as a Windows

Experience in administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 2012, 2019 and 2022

Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Citrix environments Preferred

Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate environment

Experience with multiple Windows Server Operating Systems including Windows Server 2012, 2019 & 2022.

Knowledge of Salesforce, Fuze, Jira/Confluence would be advantageous

Desirable items

Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs and network routing principles

Knowledge of Domain controllers

Knowledge of Citrix Storefront, Delivery controller, SQL, Citrix License

Experience of configuration management systems
