Manager Accounting (Remote)

Full-time, United States

The Manager will lead the Accounting Team and will direct and coordinate the work of several accounting associates in one or more core functions of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general ledger. You will ensure procedures are in place to provide for the timely and accurate payment of invoices, for processing receivables promptly, and to assure accurate and timely month-end / year-end reporting. You will also guarantee adequate financial controls are in place to support the integrity of the accounting system and safeguard the company’s assets. Another function of this role is to contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process and control expenses and departmental budgets effectively.

As a Manager Accounting, you will

• Support Accounting department budget targets
• Continuously improve processes to minimize costs
• Lead Accounting Manager and staff
• Close all business units in the region accurately and timely
• Review staff balance sheet account reconciliations monthly
• Set team goals annually and monitor quarterly to ensure the achievement
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in accounting and experience in an accounting leadership role
• Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets required
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Excel preferred
• Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards)
• Public accounting experience and CPA

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Manager Accounting is between $75,000 and $85,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
