Job description

Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Nextech Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Physician RCM division. This is a full-time, exempt position.

What you'll do

Identify, investigate, and resolve unpaid claims using Nextech Select.
Payment posting and data entry as needed and required.
Research and resolve payment and adjustment discrepancies.
Submit claims’ reconsiderations and appeals.
Research payer policies
Resolve patient queries and verify insurance coverage.
Other tasks as needed.

What we're looking for

Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or related field preferred.
Nextech Select experience is highly preferred. Ophthalmology billing experience is required.
Manage critical deadlines and keen attention to detail.
Escalate any discrepancies to management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be resourceful, persistent and possess excellent problem resolution skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
