Continuous Improvement Specialist for Business Process & Improvement Department

Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine Standard Time (Mon-Fri)

Role Objective The Continuous Improvement Specialist drives measurable business advancements in productivity, quality, and customer experience through data-driven process improvements. They collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Process Improvement Manager to identify opportunities, conduct comprehensive data analysis, and implement effective enhancements. Leveraging improvement methodologies, problem analysis techniques, and stakeholder insights, they continuously optimize processes to exceed business performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven and effective process improvements utilising improvement methodologies to drive measurable advancements in productivity, quality, and customer experience.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Utilize a variety of problem analysis techniques and methodologies to translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive significant enhancements in operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost savings.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate implemented improvements, analyzing data to measure their impact and identify further optimization opportunities. Drive ongoing enhancements to consistently achieve and surpass performance targets.
  • Collaborate with the Process Improvement Manager and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, define project scopes, and establish clear KPIs for measuring success.
  • Conduct research activities, such as stakeholder interviews, process observations, and data analysis, to gather qualitative and quantitative insights on the needs, pain points, and preferences of stakeholders involved in the process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate impactful CI workshops with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within Remote Staff.
  • Guide and support team members to foster an understanding of continuous improvement principles and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, or any relevant field of study
  • Track record of implementing measurable process improvements in productivity, quality, and customer experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate the impact of improvement initiatives through data and quantifiable results
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis, trend identification, and identifying areas for improvement
  • Effective problem-solving abilities to translate insights into actionable recommendations and solutions
  • Proficiency in improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) for effective process analysis, bottleneck identification, and data-driven solutions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective engagement with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and facilitation of workshops, and conveying ideas and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification on Improvement Methodologies or relevant such as but not limited to:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Lean Practitioner or higher
  • Design Thinking
  • Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset, adaptability, and openness to learning ands haring new techniques, best practices, emerging tools, and methodologies in continuous improvement within the team.

NOTE: This is an in-house function directly under Remote Staff and not a contracting role as a remote worker for our partner clients.
