What You'll Do Here:

  • Oversee a team of hungry and motivated Brand Managers to provide best in class mentorship, training and leadership.
  • Execute and build upon the Brand Management team’s vision of being our clients most valued and trusted business partner across their entire organization.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships across all client accounts and partners, understanding their goals and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement effective account management strategies to drive client satisfaction and agency growth.
  • Work closely with Brand Managers to build, develop and execute strong retail strategies across all areas of a brands business that propels their brands into the future of e-commerce.
  • Define and deploy the go-to-market strategy for our brand partners and develop quarterly and annually goals for internal and external teams.
  • Lead product differentiation and assortment strategies on Amazon and other marketplaces for various categories and brands.
  • Collaborate with the retail media and creative teams on executing a synchronized strategy across all marketplaces.
  • Identify and execute on new opportunities for market expansion across our portfolio of client partners.
  • Stay up to date with the latest and greatest of Retail Media, E-commerce, and Global Marketplaces.
  • Own and lead the operating P&L for all MindgruveMacarta Retail / CPG clients with appropriate top and bottom-line goal setting.
  • Gain in-depth insights into clients’ target audiences, business objectives, products and services. Collaborate with clients and teams to craft effective marketing strategies.
  • Manage clients’ accounts, budgets and teams; oversee and execute project plans ensuring success and profitability for client accounts and the agency.
  • Develop and build a robust approach for client retention while carefully balancing new business.
  • Demonstrate consistent curiosity and high standards to continuously evaluate new opportunities and improvements across our entire portfolio of client partners.

We Need a Person With:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in e-commerce & marketplace management (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Chewy, etc).
  • Experience building and managing great consumer-facing brands in digital and retail environments.
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional, collaborative organization.
  • Highly analytical business leader who can drive significant value for our brands P&L.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.
  • Experience building and evaluating new cases and a track record of operationalizing innovation and ideas into large scale processes.
  • Experience working with C-Suite executives across various categories and industries.
  • Experience in client services and building strong, lasting relationships with clients and brands.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal skills; experience writing effective briefs and detailed operational plans and SOPs.
  • Advanced in Excel/Sheets, Powerpoint/Google Slides.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • 4-5 years of Inventory & supply chain management with experience managing and guiding effective and strategic recommendations.
  • Agency experience preferred.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $140,000 - $155,000

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; a flexible spending account; voluntary life and accident plans; and a 401(k) retirement plan with matching. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with additional offices in Covington, Kentucky and Denver, Colorado. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work. (Bonus points if you’re bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.)
