Exciting Opportunity: Project Manager for NextGen Finance

We're looking for a dynamic and innovative Project Manager to spearhead our NextGen Finance Program at Hempel a strategic initiative focusing on scalability of our finance function, global alignment and standardisation, process & systems excellence and digitalisation of data.  This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an improvement program that spans across functions, processes and technology implementation.

Responsibilities 

  • Support management team of the NextGen finance program, ensuring timely delivery and  efficient execution of program activities 

  • Support initiative leads in developing project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones 

  • Monitor progress of program initiatives, ensuring timely implementation. Monitor tracking of relevant metrics and KPIs, including financial 

  • Provide regular project updates, including preparation of relevant materials 

  • Ensure that project related communication and change management initiatives are appropriately planned and effectively deployed to the organization 

Qualifications  

  • Education at a Bachelor level in Finance, Business, Project management or related field 

  • Experience in managing complex projects/programs within finance, process and systems improvements 

  • Experience in Big4 or relevant consulting experience will be a plus 

  • Cross-functional facilitation and collaboration experience 

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently 

  • Excellent presentation skills, including proficiency in producing program related materials for management (e.g. PowerPoint) 

  • Good knowledge of finance, with some years of practical experience in finance, is an advantage 

  • Fluent English (written and verbal)

Additional details  

You will work from one of our offices in Gdansk, Poland or Lyngby, Denmark. This is a contract-based role for 3 years. You can expect some travel(10-15%). Please apply for the role with your CV in English, interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
