At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.

To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.

Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.

The Ireland Entity Operations Manager will support the Ireland CEO and the Leadership Team in growing the Ireland business. Coinbase Ireland is the foundation to European expansion, targeting consumers and professionals in the adoption of the crypto ecosystem.

The scope of role is supporting legal entity governance cycles and management meetings, managing and developing cross functional and legal entity specific management information. The successful candidate will be task oriented, a quick study of our products and processes, highly productive and able to build strong interpersonal relationships. Your initial scope will be on driving projects in Ireland but is likely to expand across our other European entities.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Support the work of the Ireland Leadership Team through organisation and operation of effective management and governance meetings including, diarising, note taking and action tracking
  • Preparation and collation of meeting materials ensuring timeliness and accuracy of management information reporting to enable Leadership Team meetings to progress effectively
  • Enhance communication and management reporting to drive meeting efficiencies
  • Develop an understanding of our products that results in informed assessment of risk &/or challenge of tasks / dependencies to drive closure of meeting actions
  • Critically assess and validate the relevance and accuracy of information and data contained in management reporting materials to support the efficiency of management meeting operations
  • Support production of Management Information Reporting to oversight functions including board members and key working groups
  • Partner with Entity Operations Team members in other European offices to understand where reporting efficiencies can be made and introduced
  • Establish strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, Business Operations and Design counterparts to support product growth in EMEA.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • Proven track record in project management
  • Passion to be outstanding in everything you do
  • Good understanding of how the various functions of a regulated financial services business operate (e.g. Compliance, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Audit, Outsourcing)
  • Process orientated
  • Clear verbal and written communicator
  • Ability to have impact and influence with senior, peer & junior colleagues both regionally and globally
  • Proven judgment to assess risk impact & address or escalate accordingly
  • Happy to roll up sleeves
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with retail-oriented payments, trading, or brokerage platforms
  • Previous work experience or personal interest in crypto/blockchain space
