Your Role

We’re looking for a Sr. QA Engineer to join our rapidly growing team and help uplevel our product quality. The ideal candidate will have a background in a technical field, have strong Test Engineering or QA experience, and have worked with 80+ person engineering teams. You are methodical, a self-starter, and passionate about quality, which is key to the growth and success of a product.

You Will
  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans thoroughly to qualify product releases and features

  • Report bugs and errors using Asana with in-depth details to help the engineering team identify and fix the issue

  • Conduct root cause analysis on bugs and refine test plans to prevent similar future bugs

  • Work closely with engineering and product teams on troubleshooting as well as new test case development

  • Conduct exploratory testing to find new edge cases / bugs, and further enrich our test plans

  • Create and support test dashboards/reports

  • Develop and update automated tests for Zip’s evergreen flows

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years in Quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience

  • Experience with QA process, methodologies, and test case management tools such as TestRail

  • Experience in Python, Javascript, Java, or equivalent coding language

  • Experience with automated e2e test frameworks like PlayWright or Cypress

  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Haves
  • Experience thriving in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment that demands constant self-prioritization is a plus

  • Experience in project management approaches, tools, and phases of a project life cycle is a plus

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
