What to Expect:

Are you a seasoned HR expert with a passion for people and a drive to make a real impact? We’re looking for someone like you to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll support HR policies and objectives for a dynamic manufacturing facility with over 200 employees, fostering a high-performance, engaged, and employee-focused culture.

 

The successful candidate will work on-site in Stevens Point Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is not a remote opportunity.

 

  • Assist employees with interpretation of company HR policies and procedures.
  • Administration of FMLA.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure effective follow-up on HR matters.
  • Clearly explain all aspects of employee benefits. Ensure all new enrollment requirements are communicated and understood.
  • Assist in maintaining confidential personnel files with accuracy and discretion.
  • Foster professional relationships with employees and actively participate as a visible and approachable member of the HR Team

 

What You Will Contribute:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field; PHR or SHRM certification desired or working towards. Will consider an associate’s degree with applicable work experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in a Human Resources capacity.
  • Experience working for a manufacturing facility desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS.
  • Demonstrate high standards of diplomacy along with sound business judgement and relationship skills.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of HR best practices and Federal & State labor law.
  • Character traits of Integrity, Honesty, Thoroughness, Trustworthiness, and diligence are essential.
