We’re excited to announce multiple openings for Project Managers within the Distribution & Downtown Network team at ENMAX Power Delivery. Reporting to the Manager, Internal Projects, you’ll oversee and manage several projects and programs within our capital plan.
These roles are responsible for ensuring overall project success, including managing key processes and applying essential knowledge areas. Projects are generally of medium complexity and demand strong leadership and effective project management skills. The scope of work may encompass various program types, such as distribution and downtown network initiatives, influenced by both internal and external drivers.

Major Responsibilities:
Execute projects/programs within the Power Delivery capital plan to meet or beat defined constraints including scope, cost, schedule, EHS and quality.
Provide regular progress reporting including financial forecasting, variance explanations, schedule, safety, quality and risk status.
Work with the program lead for your respective project stream to efficiently execute all capital projects for the year and identify any conflicting scopes.
Based on best information, expert judgement and risk assessments, provide financial forecasting including capital expenditures, contribution in aid of construction and capital additions with annual and monthly granularity.
Maintain a high level of communication with the customer and strive for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Provide contemporaneous Budget Owner Change Management.
Leverage leadership skills to maintain co-operative, motivated, and successful teams to deliver on requirements.
Resolve cross-functional issues impacting performance and escalate as needed.
Develop and maintain optimal execution strategies and document within execution plans.
Ensure process adherence and lifecycle requirements are met from initiation, through design, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
Provide support to the management team for implementing process changes and improvements.
Manage and execute Maximo work order statuses and project procurement processes.
Education Required:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, B. Comm Degree, or similar degree/diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
P.Eng status with The Association of Professionals in Engineering and Geoscience in Alberta (APEGA) is preferred
An appropriate combination of technical education and experience may also be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive Project Engineering or Project Management experience in the execution of relevant projects.
PMP designation is required (commitment to obtain in short order is acceptable)
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects to cost, schedule, quality, and EHS objectives while also delivering high customer satisfaction.
Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera, and Maximo.
Experience in project cost control; schedule and critical path analysis would be an asset.

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
