YOUR IMPACT
As a Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) team lead under the Medicare Quality Payment Program (QPP), you will be responsible for delivering OpenText’s' MIPS product through enterprise data analysis and provider self-service reporting tools.
You will be part of a team focused on clinician compliance with the Medicare QPP, ensuring customers, including individual clinicians, group practices, hospitals, healthcare systems, and other business partners, understand and adhere to Medicare submission rules.

- Customer support for questions, including monitoring email and a dedicated phone.

- Consulting / Webinars for various customers
|
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
|
- OT Self-nomination process, due by early Sept each year. Requires Clinical expertise.
|
- Sending performance reports to customers four times a year, CMS requirement.
|
- CMS audits, on-site visit, and response to questions (early May). Violations/findings turn into product updates.
|
- Monthly calls with CMS that at least one member must attend (we have met this requirement to date).
|
- Tracking deadlines, changes with CMS and coordinating with Product Management. Make sure the new site was setup by Jan 2nd.
|
- Customer Audits - heavy period in Winter. Must be completed b4 submissions. DVER due by June 2
|
- QA of each release of MIPS, including filing Jiras and validating them and closing them for each release. Meet with Jeff and Kirk 2 or 3 times a week. Melissa is currently working on QA'ing the release we had been developing before she left the company now. (3 to 4 releases for new functions)

- Requirements gathering - what is needed for each new year in terms of changes with the Medicare MIPS final rule which is ~80k pages. Translating annual business requirements/final ruling into technical requirements. New annual Instance development.

- Submission season - dealing with the craziness during submission season, including the last-minute back and forth with Ventra and other customers, etc. January-March timeframe. Data review and validation

- Training, documentation, setup
|
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years project management experience
- Experience running project meetings and cross-functional projects with technical focus.
- BA, BS or work experience equivalent
- Excellent organization and project tracking skills
- Well-grounded in Microsoft Office business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner. Ability to report effectively to senior management.
- Ability to work from home; you must be extremely disciplined and able to work well remotely.
- Strong customer service attitude
- Ability to learn new technologies rapidly and self-sufficiently.
