What We’re Looking For:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training and Development professional. The role of a Training Program and Development Coordinator is central to the success of a company’s Learning and Development efforts. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs.
On a typical day you might:
- Coordinate the ongoing development of training and development programs in support of assigned area.
- Develop training plans for individuals and groups utilizing best practice.
- Identify training outcomes and evaluates achievement of outcomes.
- Direct the development, organization, and facilitation of training events and programs.
- Monitor all training development coordination related activities.
- Engage and collaborate with leadership to identify immediate and ongoing training and development needs.
- Develop assessment tools for the training and development program.
- Coordinate and ensure that designated staff members receive required/mandatory trainings.
- Research a variety of information (e.g. courses, materials, training consultants, etc.) for the purpose of developing new programs

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Human Resources, Education, or field related to these majors. Or a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, education.
Required Experience:
- Associate’s degree and four (4) years’ experience in Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Human Resources or Education to include experience in coordinating training, developing educational content, or Learning Management System (LMS) administration. OR
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum two (2) years’ experience in Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Human Resources or Education to include experience in coordinating training, developing educational content, or Learning Management System (LMS) administration. OR
- Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Preferred License/Certification: Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Technical Professional (CTP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), SHRM Certified Professional
Must have a valid driver’s license, a valid active driver’s license is required to be maintained for this position
Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status.
