Accounting and Financial Analyst

GrowthAssistant is looking for an Accounting and Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This teammate will play a key role in managing financial operations, including accounting tasks, financial analysis, and reporting. He/she will be responsible for processing and reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data to support business decisions, and ensuring accuracy in billing and payroll processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in handling multiple financial functions efficiently.

Salary Range: PHP 75,000 - 85,000 per month

Note: Rate/Salary will depend on your current competencies matched to the position’s job description and requirements based on the assessment results.

The Role

• Assist in the analysis of financial data
• Assistance with billing and payables
• Reading and reviewing new client agreements input into Quickbooks
• Inputing initial invoices into Quickbooks, monitoring the billing inbox for client related emails, billing and new agreements
• Prepare, maintain, and present financial reports, data entry to update dashboards, and maintain organized accounting records in shared drives
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, admin help with month-end close ensuring alignment with company goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., Finance Team with in-house AP/AR) to provide strategic financial and accounting insights
• Support financial and accounting projects while providing updates on deliverables to team members 
• Maintain an easy-to-read dashboard with key financial data for the executive team
• Assist the Director of Finance with organizing financial documents and reports for audits

The Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (can do pivot tables and lookups) 
• Has experience in financial analysis and accounting reporting using Quickbooks and Bill.com
• Accurate in data entry to maintain and update existing spreadsheets and dashboards
• Demonstrated ability to work on financial analysis projects with the ability to assist with Accounts Payable and Billing processes
• Has working knowledge and understanding of financial statements, GAAP, accounting principles, and general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills via Slack, Email, and Zoom
• Proactive and a self-starter
