POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Our Regulatory and Scientific Affairs (RSA) Team provides business-focused, collaborative, and strategic advice for the dynamic needs of Nestlé Purina PetCare Company. As a global leader in the pet care industry, we emphasize the importance of regulatory compliance and are committed to delivering innovative solutions that positively impact the lives of people and pets around the world. We play a crucial role in managing regulatory complexities and proposing creative solutions to maintain the company’s competitive edge.

 

As a Regulatory and Scientific Intern, you’ll gain exposure to various areas of regulatory, including product development, International Trade, and Operational Compliance. Having the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals will help you acquire valuable, hands-on experience while contributing to a variety of regulatory tasks and projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. As a global leader in the pet care industry, we emphasize the importance of regulatory compliance and are committed to delivering innovative solutions that positively impact the lives of people and pets around the world. 

  • Assist in conducting research and analysis on regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to our products and services 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile and organize relevant information to support our department’s tasks 

  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, including applications, reports, position papers, and/or dossiers 

  • Assess improvement opportunities and contribute to the development and maintenance of regulatory databases and documentation systems 

  • Participate in meetings and discussions with internal stakeholders to provide insights on regulatory and scientific matters 

 

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program as a Junior or Senior in an accredited science, communication, policy, and/or agricultural program or pursuing a related degree 

  • Must be able to commit to 40 hours/week for 12 consecutive weeks during Summer 2025 semester 

  • Must be able to accommodate Monday-Thursday hours at Headquarters office in Saint Louis, option to work from home Fridays with Manager approval 

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20 per hour. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
