A Project Management Intern is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of a project, ensuring tasks are completed on time by managing schedules, coordinating communication between team members and stakeholders, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to leadership, all while maintaining organization and attention to detail to achieve project goals. The candidate will have an opportunity to work on some of the most important projects in the enterprise within Corporate Quality while gaining skills in Project Management, Portfolio Management and Governance. Exposure to all levels from individual contributors to executive leadership. Skills gained from Project and Portfolio Management work are highly transferable. Additionally, knowledge gained in this highly regulated space is specialized and in high demand
Key responsibilities include:
- Project planning and execution:
Assisting in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, assigning tasks to team members, and tracking progress against the plan.
- Communication management:
Facilitating clear communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients through regular meetings, updates, and reports.
Monitoring task completion, identifying potential roadblocks, and proactively addressing issues to maintain project momentum.
Ensuring team members have the necessary resources to complete their tasks and managing resource allocation effectively.
- Reporting and documentation:
Preparing and distributing project status reports, maintaining detailed project documentation, and updating project management systems.
Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

Full Time Summer Hours: 40Hours/Wk.
The salary range is: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
