A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborates with Sparq and client management, and provides internal feedback regarding the performance of individual colleagues and the development team as a whole
  • Manages Sparq engagement management colleagues as assigned; responsible for direct report(s) annual review (s), performance feedback, and support; guides professional development
  • Provides an engaging and consultative approach to client delivery and project outcomes
  • Leads Scrum ceremonies and oversees small or medium scale client project teams (Sprint
  • Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review & Sprint Retrospective); assists on large scale client engagements as assigned
  • Coordinates and provides leadership in development of project plans, analysis, design, and development of project implementation with minimal oversight; ability to manage more than one project team/and or client engagement simultaneously
  • Provides coaching and guidance to the project team regarding all aspects of the project, while ensuring the team understands the tasks fully and can act on them efficiently; discusses specifics of role assignments and provides feedback as needed
  • Ensures that project team colleagues have support and appropriate resources; acts as an escalation point for colleague and project success
  • Effectively communicates with internal Sparq partners, development team, and clients regarding project needs and goals; begins to exercise sound judgement and maintains professional internal and external communication
  • Professionally resolves colleague and client issues in a timely and respectful manner; has an awareness of the requirements, timelines and deliverables and advises on areas of risk, raises issues early and provides work-in-progress status
  • Possesses understanding of various ticketing systems and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Administers financial aspects of project--manages invoices, materials, project control books
  • Communicates with Client Executive and Delivery Executive for SOW changes and Colleague Quality Executive for performance/HR issues
  • Participates in the interview process for engagement management and provides feedback on candidate qualifications
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
