Overall, the Vendor Management role plays a role in support our business and operations keeping the necessary tools up to date, meeting the business needs and managing costs.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors.
  • Guarantee they meet the business needs.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal, vendor risk and data privacy.
  • Optimize vendor relationships.

Relationship Management:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
  • Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of goals.

Process and Risk Monitoring:

  • Monitoring vendor management process to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with vendor management (Legal, VRM, DPA).
  • Data aggregation and develop analytics, dashboard, & KPI reporting
  • Manage the procurement process end to end from receipt of request to approval of invoices
  • Support financial planning by providing input from the procurement process
  • Ad-Hoc reporting and documentation of process & procedures

Cost Management:

  • Monitoring and managing costs associated with vendor relationships.
  • Ensure they align with planned costs and deliver value for the organization.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support financial planning by providing input.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, finance, operations, and senior management.
  • Keep them informed about vendor-related activities, issues, and opportunities.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluating and refining the vendor management to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation (Implement best practices, tools, etc).
