About the role:

  • The Solutions Engineer at LiveU supports the LatAm Sales division by demystifying complex subjects and closing the gap between our products and our customer's needs. By listening closely to the customer and having mastery of the LiveU products, this role ensure that their needs are met, and the LiveU EcoSystem can be seamlessly integrated into new and existing workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical sales process, understanding and translating customer needs into technical requirements
  • White glove handling and primary technical point of contact during pre-sales process
  • Assist with customer technical discovery using a solutions-based approach
  • Manage accounts in active demo/POC status
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all LiveU products
  • Create workflow drawings that reflect the pre-sales design and eventual as-built state
  • Provide field support for LiveU software and hardware solutions
  • Assist with product deployment, installation, and troubleshooting
  • Provide training for customers & partners remotely and on-site
  • Work closely with Customer Success Manager once sale is complete and customer is active



Requirements

  • Competency with IT, telecommunications, computers, media streaming and video encoding
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT-related field, or equivalent real-world experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for trade shows and customer visits
  • MS office proficiency: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in pre and post-sales support
  • Excellent communication, presentation & time management skills
  • AutoCad, Visio, Lucid platform experience
  • Must have an active driving license and have a clean driving record
  • Candidates must possess a valid passport and have the flexibility to travel within Latin America as needed.
  • Proficient in Spanish & English
