The role of the Solution Engineer is to support the advancement of sales opportunities to both existing customers and prospects across the entire portfolio of Proactis solutions. The Solution Engineer will support an end-to-end solution that can handle all facets of the Source to Pay cycle, collaborating with all internal functions and required partners to ensure proposed deals include software solutions that accurately address customer needs.

  • Must be a native German speaker and fluent in English.
  • Proven experience within Pre Sales or client facing Consultancy role.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design, configure and deliver excellent solution demonstrations, understanding customer value as well as Proactis solutions.
  • Ability to craft high quality technical responses to RFx, delivering content which is succinct, accurate and focused on value.
  • Strong industry, function (Finance/Procurement) and Proactis Solution knowledge.
  • Experience of MEDDPICC or similar sales methodology.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with ability to build relationships to create a trusted advisor persona.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical skills, ability to hit the ground running and quickly adopt new solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong sense of initiative, ability to manage a varied workload (this is not always a 9-5 role)
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, company functions, industry events etc. Including Full valid Driving Licence.
